Banana Breakfast Smoothie Recipe



1 ripe banana, frozen (for a thicker and colder smoothie)

1/2 cup plain yoghurt

1/2 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)

1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)


Add all the ingredients to your blender.

Blend until smooth and creamy, adding more milk if needed to reach your desired consistency.

Taste and adjust sweetness with additional honey or maple syrup if desired.

Pour into a glass and enjoy!


For an extra protein boost, add a scoop of protein powder.

If you like your smoothies thicker, add a handful of spinach or kale.

Make it chocolatey by adding a tablespoon of cocoa powder.
